Every Builder Series camper shell comes standard with our integrated 4-inch bed rails, giving you additional cargo-carrying capability without sacrificing durability. The roof is rated to support up to 200 lbs of evenly distributed cargo, making it perfect for camping gear, hunting equipment, recovery gear, and more. The top of the bed rails is designed to sit even with the top of the factory cab roof, helping maintain your vehicle's overall height. This is especially beneficial for customers with garage, enclosed trailer, or toy hauler clearance limitations. As with any roof-mounted load, adding weight above the bed raises your vehicle's center of gravity. Always operate your machine safely and within the manufacturer's recommendations.
All Builder Series camper shells also include the Kelly Fabworks Locking Tab design. When the rear hatch is closed and locked, the locking tab extends over the top of the tailgate, preventing the tailgate from being opened. This allows you to securely lock the contents of your bed for added peace of mind.
Built entirely from lightweight aluminum and finished in a rugged textured black powder coat, the Builder Series offers outstanding durability while keeping weight to a minimum.
Like all Kelly Fabworks camper shells, every major component is replaceable. If a panel or individual part is ever damaged, there's no need to replace the entire camper shell. We can supply replacement components to keep your camper shell looking and functioning like new.
